Not by many requests to God…
Not by mental cries to Heaven…
Not by trying to bribe the Powers of the Universe with empty promises…
Not by wanting so much, nor by intensely believing in the power of faith…
Not even by the diligent effort in studying, planning or working to obtain moral merits and achieve practical results based on the Law of Return…
Yes, all these postures or tools can lead you to a certain degree of success in your efforts to accomplish specific goals, depending on the circumstances, people, place, time, culture and values involved.
But none of the effects achieved will be complete if, before any decision or action, you do not seek the alignment with your conscience, with the Kingdom of God within you¹, as taught by the Christ Jesus, because only in the sacred chamber of your own heart will you notice what is the true calling for your soul.
Without this, beloved child, you will inevitably end up taking winding routes of destiny, if not completely off the path or in the opposite direction of your authentic ideal.
Listening only to reason, pragmatism and the logic of survival, the individuals easily delude themselves as to the most sensible choices for their profound happiness, that which is filtered through the sieves of the peace of duty righteously fulfilled.
Instead of excessively focusing on external achievements like power, prestige or fortune, pay attention to your feelings related to Transcendentality, to what is dear to your Spirit, even excluding meeting the expectations of the dominant mores, social demands or the dictates of family, including those established by the dearest loved ones. And rest assured: the intuitions about the best to do, even if vague in their first manifestations, will become progressively clearer, more continuous and broader.
Once you have adopted this intimate attitude, you will gradually but surely find the map with the path to the secret cave where the most precious treasure of happiness and personal fulfillment that you crave so much is hidden, and perhaps you do not even know you are looking for it, because you cannot even conceive of the existence of something so special and miraculous, within yourself!…
