Prefer to act heroically, treating well who does not deserve it, to act unjustly, being ungrateful and cruel with who does not deserve it. Whenever you feel uncertain about someone’s character, intention or motives, choose to act with dignity, affection, care and even generosity. Because if you are worthy with who does not deserve it, you will be giving them the chance to mend themselves, but if you are improper with who is righteous, you will be acquiring a hideous karma.
If you act like a hero, you will count, today or tomorrow, with the remorse of who received your kindness and didn’t deserve it, thus stimulating their moral development. If you act like an ungrateful person, you will have to face, now or later, the meaningful look of who was mistreated by you and didn’t deserve it, and then, the remorse will be yours, with a terrible debt in your consciousness, due to hitting who didn’t deserve it. And, when it comes to understanding who is who, be aware, dear friend, that the confusion about psychological and moral types is more common on Earth than you think, even considering the assessment of those regarded as more insightful. As Jesus rightly suggested: “do not judge so that you will not be judged”.
Finally, consider a deeper perspective: who deserves to be attacked? Who deserves to be mistreated? The poor guy who is already primitive, unhappy and vicious? What do you think the Angels in Heaven think of those who abuse those already unhappy in life, like those with moral handicaps? What do you think of facing the look of these Angels? Let me tell you, dear friend: sooner or later, you will.
