Conscious atheism as a basic model of mature conduct

Conscious atheism as a basic model of mature conduct

In critical situations, I think to myself how a conscientious atheist would act in my place, in terms of the pragmatism of good.

Armed with this answer, I demand myself to do more or better, since we cannot have the frivolous and fanatical expectation that Divinity and the Forces that represent It will replace us in the field of individual responsibility.

However, I permeate this perspective of adult rationality with the optics of eternity and the conviction of the assistance and intervention of Celestial Agents who mercifully – when we persevere in the focus and sincere effort to serve others – come to our rescue and enhance our scarce personal resources, so that more creatures (and in the best possible way) benefit from what we offer of ourselves or what is, through us, provided by On High.
