“The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord hoas done this and it is marvelous in our eyes.” (Mark 12:10-11) We can easily infer from the above Gospel passage that whatever is rejected by the builders (i.e. those who shape society as it is, at any given time and place) strongly indicates a “turning point”, like the “cornerstone”, an evolutionary vertex within the context of a certain culture and time.
