(Benjamin Teixeira) – Ok. What would you like to discourse about, Eugenia?
(SE) – I would like to talk about terrorism in the Middle East and in the world. While North Americans consider themselves the owners of the world, Europeans the Earth’s aristocracy and Asians the cultural elite, there won’t be other alternative but insidious attacks from agents of madness, from all sorts of elements sigma-5 (*) and sociopaths of all categories. Terrorist is a kind of cancerous agent in the social fabric of Earth’s humanity. And, just as cancers develop themselves – as more complete oncological studies affirm – when deep angers and frustrations are repressed, the same happens in relation to today’s civilization. Behind the good mask of democracy and civility, a series of stingy and suspicious interests is hidden, so that only through the “sociological somatization” of the terrorist act, the planetary consciousness could wake up to such order of collective alienation, of fissures of the globe as whole, of internal conflicts imperfectly disguised, between ethnic groups and nations, in the drama of international diplomatic relations.
(BT) – Eugênia, frankly, I fear a bacteriological or nuclear Armageddon, due to the presence in the world of so many informed and armed lunatics, in increasing numbers. What would you have to say about this?
(SE) – When someone is ill, what do doctors suggest? To follow what has been prescribed and, finally, restfulness. It is also said that, when the ailment is severe, medicine does its part, but the body and God must do the rest: the reaction of healing – the most important. Exactly the same happens in the macrocosmic dimension. There is no reason for panic, as there never is. God always watches over everything. The “worse” that could happen to someone on Earth is their physical death and this merely constitutes their release from the prison of flesh. Therefore, there must be, on the part of religious people and spiritualists in general, an operant attitude, yes; militant, yes – in the sense of mobilizing human and material resources to pacify the Earth and avoid the apocalypse –, but, in no way, it would be acceptable any kind of escape from the best standard of serenity and trust in the Creator, who, behind the apparent chaos, perceived by our limited human intelligence, coordinates all, for an implicit order, in a deeper level of complexity, beyond our current perceptive possibilities.
(BT) – Right. What we, Brazilian citizens (most of our audience), could do in order to cooperate with the critical transition we are going through from a warlike era to a peaceful one?
(SE) – Experience peace in all possible levels, starting with the very inner world. The habit of prayer, meditation, noble reading, the fraternal coexistence with brothers and sisters in humanity, all sorts of initiatives that promote solidarity and harmony among men will be excellent, in order to compete for a happy future on Earth.
(BT) – Anything else to say about this?
(SE) – Reinforcing what we said: may each one do his part, but no one should forget that there is an Infinite Intelligence behind everything and that, therefore, we do not need to intend to take Her place, but so-only to relax and flow, in peace, toward the better, in all senses, as far as possible and not exactly desirable, because, done our part, be certain: God will do His.
(*)According to the conceptualization of modern scholars, a tiny percentage of the population who is capable of committing acts of total genocidal stupidity, with efficiency and brilliancy, as Bin Laden well represents.
