Fantastic Realism.

There was a way, until recently, to qualify a certain genre of literature that, although fanciful, exceled in developing ballasts of reasonableness, with hints of pseudoscience. This style migrated, at least partially, for what is now called “science fiction.”

Many have their bases of faith on similar cognitive foundations. Psychologically walking on quicksand, often jamming on the swamp of fanaticism and conceptual obsolescence. Others, more rational, time and again, run, frightened, when the evidence of the spiritual realm of reality appears more consistent. And yet there are those who are moved to tears, oscillating between euphoria and depression, revealing themselves irritable and / or perplexed when personal whims were not served by Celestial Powers and Genii.

All these psychological types are in the childhood of faith. Conviction, clarity, responsibility, maturity and commitment identify adult faith, rare on today’s Earth.
